John died 1 Feb 1731-2, Edgartown. He was an innkeeper, and in 1713 was
appointed Associate Justice of the County Court. His will of 7 December 1730 was
probated 7 Mar 1731-2. Banks adds that he came to Edgartown about 1700. He is buried
at Tower Hill Cemetery.
