Calendar of Scheduled Days for Unit 9 (Victorian Literature) Serial Presentations

Imagine that a modern day audience was reading these texts. Where would they get updates on the latest chapters?

Objective: Since you are reading serial publications, your small group will offer serial updates on the developments in
your Victorian texts!

Instructions:
Your Literature Circle group will create three periodic updates throughout your reading of the texts, plus one
final presentation on the conclusion of book.
Each update should be between 2-5 minutes in length, followed by a general Question and Answer session
Must cite at least 2 explicit quotes from the reading
Each update should be presented in a consistent format bonus if you mash-up two or more apps!

Total Points: 15 points per update; 20 points for final presentation (all group members receive the same grade)

Suggestions: Your group might create a video clip of a text message conversation using the app TextingStory as an intro
to an Adobe Spark video; you might sign up for a Twitter account using the authors name and create a thread; you
could use Instagram to capture pictures of scenic locations, then add images to a ThingLink map; your group could
create a Snapchat group chat or story set to an original song on Pacemaker; you might film a breaking news segment
with AppleClips and post clips on a Tumblr blog be creative and utilize your strengths!
