Making Wrong Decisions; Is it Worth it

In this essay I will be talking about reproductive health and why it is dangerous to have

abortions and the after affects. Woman should never ever think about aborting their child, no

matter what they go through they should reach out other resources. Woman that aborts their

babies should be considered murderers and it should be a crime to abort. Abortion is the killing

of a human being and killing a human being is a crime. Many will say it is not a human being

until it is born but basic science research proves that a baby in the womb is considered a human

being. Abortion is very evil and it should be a crime.

In many occasions when women get pregnant without desiring it they consider it to be

something tragic. For example, In many occasions women get raped or the doctor told the

woman their baby is going to be disabled and the mom decides she doesn't want to take care of

the baby and decide they want to have an abortion. These two examples should not be a reason to

get an abortion. Women should think in the well being of a child or of other parents who desire

to have a child but dont, they should consider on giving their child into adoption instead of

aborting. When women go experience a traumatizing situation like rape they might say or

believe that if they have the baby, that baby will remind her of the rape. But, there is always a

different way to get rid of the baby not by having an abortion specifically. Woman don't

necessarily have to kill your baby, there is many married couples out there that want to have a

baby but they can't. People will die to have kids when they can't, while others kill theirs, why not

make the world a favor and give your kid for adoption for consideration to those couples that

can't have kids. There is about thirty six couples for every one baby that is being placed for

adoption(Brown 4). In other words women should think and give an opportunity to an unborn

child..

Babies are not the only ones who suffer consequences due to abortion. Women are dying

and others who survive abortion sometimes suffer the consequences in the future by going

sterile. Media will never tell us about women dying due to legalized abortion. The number of

women dying is unknown Dr. Freda Bush from pro-life OB-GY (Bilger9). The lives that are

being lost can be prevented if abortion wasnt allowed. The majority of the United States

hospitals don't keep track of how many abortions they do or who dies. The doctors themselves

say abortion is unsafe and can lead to serious complications or even death. If woman get

complications after their abortion like bleeding or infections, the majority of the clinics don't

have doctors to take care of those complications and they leave the woman on there own and let

them figure out how to cure themselves sending them to the hospital straight to the emergency

room. Woman need to be alive and have baby's so their babies can have more babies. It is unfair

to take a life away from someone who doesnt even know what living is.

Many will disagree with others who are against abortion. There is people that say that man are

not woman and can't feel what getting raped feels like. That is a lie man get raped too, it is not

common thing but it is something that happens. You don't forget about your rape by killing your

child. In addition, men dont get pregnant but man also need to live with memory that they got

raped and that must be very uncomfortable. Woman with high risk pregnancies should be seeing

special doctors so they can get cured but never intentionally kill a baby(Brown 1).

Acknowledging that woman get raped and at times end up pregnant, people should also

understand that they may be in danger with their pregnancy, but killing a human being that hasn't

even been born yet is not the solution because that can lead to something worse. many people

also say that we are able to do whatever we want. That is certainly true but people need to

acknowledge that , that has consequences as well. I agree a person should be able to do whatever

they want but there are laws and killing a human being is a law that will take you to jail and that

is what should happen when a woman aborts.

If abortion was illegal, millions and millions of lives will be saved. Just like Henrietta

lacks saves million of lives with her cells and keeps saving them, us by voting or demanding for

abortion to become illegal will save many many lives.
