- Passports (For customs and such or for ID for hotels)
- Toilet paper/tissues for bathrooms (not all bathrooms provide them)
- Snacks, because a lot of hiking happens
- English/Chinese dictionary for reference
- Extra cash in a hidden place in case of an emergency or theft
- Mosquito Repellant, lots of it
- Camera or a decent phone to take pictures of stuff
- SIM card that works in China (Install a VPN on your phone as well because China blocks a
lot of stuff like Google Maps and such)
- Thin poncho in case the rain gets really bad
- ID card in case of an emergency that you can hand to locals
- A map (your phone works, but a paper one is helpful)
- 13 sets of clothes (Under wear, pyjamas, etc.)
