Make Picture Frames Out of Cardboard
You will need:
Cardboard box (you can use cereal box, shoe box, or any other used box).
Scissors.
Box cutter.
Ruler.
Pencil.
Glue.
Acrylic paint in various colours.
How to do it:
1. Make a square cut on one edge of the cardboard. Measure it depending on the photo
you want to frame. For example, 6 cm x 8 cm cut can be used for a 4 cm x 6 cm photo.
This will allow a 1-inch width of frame.
2. Mark the middle of the square to make an opening for the photo. If it is a 4x6, make
3.5 cm x 5.5 cm opening. This way, some of the frames will overlap the photo. Cut out
the opening using a box cutter.
3. Paint the frame with acrylic paint and leave it to dry. You can paint it with your
favourite colour, draw a pattern, or use your imagination. Be creative!
4. Once the paint has dried, glue the photo to the frame.
5. Make a backing piece by cutting another piece of cardboard, with similar
measurements to the frame. Glue it to the back of the photo.

Instructions:
1. Cut the patterned fabric into 2 pieces, measuring around 10 cm x 22 cm each. Do the

2. Take 1 piece of fabric and lay on top of 1 piece of felt. Set it so that the top parts of
both materials line up.
3. Using a needle and cotton thread, sew along the tops to join felt and fabric. Repeat with

4. Flip over so the stitch is hidden and the seam is showing. Press with an iron. Repeat
with the other section.
5. Place two sections together with felt facing outward and underneath. Put your
handphone in the centre, leaving a gap about 5 mm at the top.
6. Draw around the phone by using a marker pen.
7. Stitch around the drawn handphone pattern. Remember not to sew the top, as this is
where you will put the phone in.
8. Cut out around the stitches as close as possible. Be careful not to cut the stitches.
