The problem with parents checking their cellphones in front of their children is they

hinder the chance for them to develop well language skills. Later on reducing the chances for

their children to have high possibilities in academic success. As it leads to more problems with

the childs future beging with kindergarten&beyond.

For example language skills are such an important predictor of a child because of how it

can predict their success as a student. Everytime the parents look and take the time to check their

phone when having a conversation it will hinder the childs ability to have well strucred the

converstation. Language skills are also very important because it can help with their social skills

and communication skills. Their social skills being how well they can connect with others as

communication skills how they conversate with peers. They will show more enagement. Even

later on affecting math scaores . So they become a person who is able to mentally combine

attention, memory, planning, and flexibility; how well they can muiltitask without loosing

consentration.

An example with me ,factors that helped me were the fact that back then their wasnt as

much technology so my mother as I recall did not own a mobile phone so she didnt have a

distraction. Another factor before enrollin g me into kindergarten I attended pre-school in which

help me develop better skills and prepare me for the beging of my academic success. My
