(2) If a displaced person to whom any land has been leased or
allotted by the Custodian under the conditions published by the - .
notification of the Governmenr of Punjab in the Department of
Rehabiliration No.489 1-S or 4892-S, dared he 8th July, 1949, has been
allotted some other land in lieu thereof in pursuance of any scheme. for
consolidation of holdings, then such other land shall be deemed to have
been leased or allotted, as the case may be, to such displaced person
under [he afonaid conditions within the meaning ofthe Displaced Persons
(Cornpensat ion and Rehabilitation) Act? 1954 (44 of 1954).
