6.1 Provision of resources


The company determined and provides necessary resources in order to,

a) Implement and maintain Quality management system and continually improve its
effectiveness and
b) Enhance customer satisfaction by meeting requirements.

In activities undertaken by Edward and Christie resources required basically comprise of

Machinery - Type and number of each type to be deployed are selected on work
Volumes work sequence and specified delivery date

Materials allocated - Phasing of material supply based on work sequence and period
for each item of work.

Human Resources - To be provided are based on number of machine units to be


Deployed sequence, volume and time allocated to each item of Work
.

All resources to be provided to each project are based on the detailed work programme
accepted and approved by the client / consultant.

6.2 Human Resources

6.2.1 General

Company ensures competence of employees performing work effecting quality management


system by providing appropriate.

Training
Skills
Experience

Adequate staff to cover all activities in each project is decided based on the detailed work
programme and the management ensures that all necessary human resources are made
available to ensure the quality specified by the client is always delivered.

6.2. Competence awareness and training

Management ensure that competence awareness and training of employees needed for both
present and future by

6.22
a) Determining the necessary competence for personnel performing work effecting
product quality.
b) Providing training or taking other action to satisfy these needs.
c) Evaluating the effectiveness of the action taken.
d) Ensuring that company personnel are aware of the relevance and importance of their
activities and how they contribute to the achievement of the quality objectives and
e) Maintaining appropriate records for education, training, skills & experience.

6.3 Infrastructure

Company has determined, provides, and maintains the infrastructure needed to achieve
conformity to product requirements by following as appropriate.
a) Building, work space and utilities.
b) Process equipments (hard ware and soft ware)
c) Supporting services (Transport and communication)

6.4 Work environment

Management has determined and manages the work environment to achieve conformity of
product requirements by following conditions.
Safety rules and guidance use of protective equipments.
Hygiene, cleanliness, noise, vibration, and pollution.
Easy work methods (Ergonomics)
