Printing from Start to Finish

.Perfusion ink.
1.Please filling ink in bottle as the color lable.(UV ink will decomposition if meet with light,so
please operation quickly in order to keep the ink quality. )
2.Pump ink with syringe as the photo.( Every ink sac do as this,until you pump ink out.)
3.Install the ink sac back,and take Head cleaningfor 1 times before you start to printing.

Note:Please keep the syringe vertical while you are filling.(as picture 3.)

. Starting up.
1. Insert the power cable and USB cable.
2. First turn on the main power switch.(at the left corner of the machine)
3. Second,press the top red power button.( At the moment the power indicate light will blinking.)
And the tray will moving out a little as the following picture.

4. Press the backward button to return the tray back fully.

5. The power indicate light stoped blinking,both link onand power indicate lights are on,then
the printer had been normal boot.

Note: Every time before you send a print job,make sure the tray had return back fully.Otherwise it
will occurred an error.

. Install printer drive

Insert the driving CD into computer,open the CD,double click the driving installation icon,then
operate as computer instructions.

. Printing with RIP Software

1. Install the RIP software
Insert the RIP CD into computer,unzip the files.
RIP software isnt supply to Windows 8,please note it.

Click restart computer to finish the installment of RIP.(as picture )

After installing,you can find two icons on your computer desktop. (as picture)

2.How to use RIP software and RIP setting
Insert the RIP softdog into computers USB interface,then you can open the two icons.(After you
insert the softdog, the indicate light should be on.)
Indicate light.
If your ink is 6 colored ink (without
white ink),you can use Photoshop or RIP
software P icon to print.

If your ink is 4 colored ink and white

ink,you must choose RIP software W
icon to print.

If you need to printing white,please choose Wicon to print.

Open the W,click the file to open a picture,then it appeared as follow:

This is just one example,please

set the accurate position and
size for the picture.

At bottom of the window you can see RIP software has four parts as following

Paper size: Width:32cm Height:42cm

Note: In your printer drives Printing preferences,also please setting the Paper size to
A3 ,because if you just setting the paper size in RIP but dont setting it in print drive,the printed
size may a little difference from it should be.
Output position: Its the coordinates of the start printing position.
And you can repat the picture in Repat and change the output pictures positions in Distribute.

You can choose 1440X720 DPI or 1440X1440 DPI,but if you need you can choose others.

Color Management:as following picture

Ink Channel: YKWWMC
Ink Limit: You can change the four colors and white to Max 200% as you need.Usually,you can
setting the colors ink about 30% to 50% is ok,but if you need to printing white,please setting the
white ink to 100% to 200%,this way you can printing out better effect.

White ink control

This part you used only when you are printing white,if you didnt printing white,you can ingore it.
When you print on black material,then you need to printing whint ink as base color,there are 5
options of software coversion,as following:

How to choose the options depends on the pictures.
After you setting,RIP will separate the picture into white and black.The black parts of the picture
will be print white,and white parts of picture will not print.

And at top of RIP window,you can see this icons as following:

After you setting up all the four parts,click print,then it will pop up a window as following:

Now there are two parts,White Setting and Color Setting.

If you want to print on white or light color surface material,neednt to printing white ink,please
setting Color Setting for 1 copies,and White Setting for 0 copies.
If you want to print on dark (or deep color)surface material,in order to print out good color
effect,you should print white first as the base color,and then print color.That means you need to
print twice.First setting White Setting for 1 copies,Color Setting for 0 copies.Click Print.
After this finished printing, dont move the printing items,return the tray back,then you can start the
second printing.Setting the Color Setting for 1 copies,White Settingfor 0 copies.Then click
Print is ok.
Usually,every first time of printing after you power on the printer,the printing position is not
accurate,so,suggest you start printing from the second time.
Notice:
When you are printing white as basic color, in White part, select 100% white under any colored
pixel in White Layer Generation,and choose whitein View.Then the black parts of the
picture will be printing white.

Click the File, you can see the Nozzle check and Head cleaning,through the nozzle check you
can see if the print head is in good condition,and if the print head is clogged,you can take a head
cleaning.

. Printing with Photoshop

If you didnt printing white,you can choose Photoshop or RIP P to print.

1, Open the Photoshop software,click file to open your printing picture.

2,Insert the picture in the file,and locate the right position.After editing,click printin the file.
3,Choose your correct printer in Name.then click Property,it will pop up a window as
following,to see the ink quantity (Each cartridge should has a corresponding color.).About the
Quality options type size according to your need to choose right.
4, After editing,click OK,then you can printing.

. Actually printing with UV lamp.

1. Normal boot the printer.
2. Adjust the high of the tray.
Press the upward button,the tray will move up slowly,usually it will stoped at a high

automaticly because of the sensors.But if you had place a printing item on the tray, you need to
moving the tray out to the area where the sensors can checking the item,and the sensors cant
checking all the material,so youd better use your eyes to observe the distance between the printer
head and the mould.(Usually 2~3 millimeters.)
3. Printing position.
1),Press the fast forward buttonto move the tray out,and then stick a A3 white paper on the
tray,make sure the paper is flate,if the paper is not flat may cause the nozzle damage.
2),After you setting the RIP ,you can print on paper first to see the location of the printing
picture,(Usually,every time after you power on the printer, the first time of printing is not
accurate,the second time shall prevail.) If the position is wrong,please modify it again,until it
correct.
4. Place the printing item on the tray according the paper position and fix it.
5. Printing.
1),If you need to print white,then printing white first,then color.
Send the white printing orders to printer, (1440*1440 dpi,ink limit 30%~50% is ok.)after the
white finished printing,return the tray back,and send the color printing order .(Every time before
you send a new print order,make sure the tray is back fully,its very important.)
6. After you send the printing job,you can turn on the UV lamp.

. Power off the printer normally

After the printer finished printing job, return the tray back. Then you can power off the printer.
First press the top red power button,then the tray will move out,until it stoped,and the power
indicate light is off,return the tray back, then you can press the main power button(In the lower left
corner of machine.), till this,you have complete the shut off of printer.
Note: In order to better maintain the machine, please do as instructions.

Maintenance The Machine

.Checking and cleaning the printer head
If you had printing for long time,you can check and cleaning the print head.
1. Click File Print Property Maintain,then it will pop up a window as the
third picture:

Head cleaning

Nozzle Checking Use to check if your printer head had clogged.

Head Cleaning : If your printer head is cloged,cleaning it automaticly (Better with cleaning
liquid.)After it finished,take a nozzle checking pattern. If the pattern is
intermittent,you can cleaning for 2 or 3 times.

. Maintenance if you dont use for 2~3 days.

1. Take out the ink cartridges, put into the cleaning cartridges ( with cleaning liquid), then take a
Head cleaning.
2. Then take out the cleaning cartridges ( with cleaning liquid ) and put into protection cartridges
( with protection liquid in.) And take a nozzle checking , to see the printed pattern,if all the lines are
smooth.If you confirm that the printer head is unobstructed, then you can leave the cartridges (with
protection liquid) inside the printer .
3.Maintain for suction pad and the waste ink pump.
1), Clean the waste ink on the suction pad regularly (when dont use the printer) by using the
medical 95% ethyl alcohol, to ensure the pad is clean.
2),Check if the tube of the waste ink pump is unobstructed or not,if obstructed,please use the ethyl
alcohol to cleaning and replace the waste pump promptly. (If need,please contact with the factory
before do this operation.) And check if there is pipeline leak or ink leaking phenomenon.

Attention:
1. When washing nozzles please prevent the cleaning liquid overflow,it may damage the circuit
board.
2. If clean print head by manual, please make sure to turn off the power first.
3. If the circuit board gets cleaning liquid, do not use the printer, please wipe clean the board
immediately.

.Up & Down system maintenance

1. Clear impurities on the screw rodand lubricate the screw rod using sewing machine oil.
2. Adjust the degree of tightness of synchronous belt .

.In & out system maintenance

1.Ckeck if there is loose or clearance in the gear.If yes,please screw up by screwdriver.
2.Clear impurities on the track,and clean with a napkin.

.Printer head maintenance

1. Do not change ink casually or use two kinds of ink on same print head;
2. Avoid the print head to collide with the printed objects;
3. Its easy to cause print head clogged if the printer doesnt use for long time;
4. Must keep the print head at the right end all the time before give printing jobs;
5. Dont move printer head by manual and remove the absorbing ink pad.

. Ink cartridge car maintence

Check if the ink cartridge car moving smooth or not,if not, please lubricate with oil.

Solving Problems
.Refill ink indicate light on.

Reasons Solutions
Press refill ink button,the cartridge car will move
automatically,take out the cartridges and filling in
ink,and then insert again,then press the refill
1,Lack of ink inkbutton again.(If you think the ink is enough,just
take out the cartridges and re-install back.)
2,The printer can not read any of the Press refill ink button,the cartridge car will move
cartridges.(Some red cross appear on the automatically,take out the cartridges(with red
cartridges display on your computer.) cross),and wipe clean the chips carefully with nakpin.
3,Some cables on the mainboard had Checking all the cables on the mainboard,if loose,take
loose. off and insert again.Be carefully.

. Form feed indicate light on

Reasons Solutions
1,In the print queue,there are print tasks
that unfinished. Cacel all the print tasks in your print queue.

2,Implement the wrong command,

Return the tray back,then press the form feed button.
computer prompt paper jam.
3As you send the print job,the formfeed Checking the paper size in the setting,if the size in RIP
light will on. setting is same as the print driver setting.

. Refill ink and form feed light blinking at the same time.
Reasons Solutions
1,Before you give a new print job,you Cancel the print jobs in print queue,then power off the
didnd return the tray back fully. printer,and then power on again.
If you cannot solve this by start up again.

2,Main board s problem. Checking all the cables on the main bord.If

. Formfeed and Refill ink light blinking alternately.

Reason Solution
Had take Head cleaning too many times,the
mainboard need to reset, cleaning the waste ink Please do as the Mainboard reset program
pad. instruction. We had send with the machine.

. RIP software problems

1, Can not run the P and W,after you installed the RIP drive.
Solutions 1:Restart your computer.
Solutions 2:Re-install the RIP drive.
2, Can not add the printing picture to RIP.
Solutions: Move the picture to your desktop,because RIP can not open a folder.
3, The printed picture color is too deep or too shallow.
Solutions: In Color parts,change the Ink limit.

. Printer head manual cleaning.

Notice:Usually dont use this method,(before you do this,suggest you contact us.)
If your printer head is clogged,and you have take Head cleaningfor many times,(with cleaning
liquid cartridge.)but the printer head is still clogged,you can take this manual cleaning.
1. Reduce the tray to the bottom(press the Downward button.) it is important.
2. Power off the printer.
3. Use a screwdriver to loose the cartridge car,let it can move,(be carefully)as following:

4. Move the printer head to the middle,and take out all the cartridges.As following:

5. Use a syringe with soft tubes filling with few cleaning liquid,first injection the cleaning liquid
in,and then suction, (every interface do as this for about 3 times.)

6. After you finished this process,you can suction the liquid out,and refilling in new cleaning

liquid,and then injection the cleaning liquid to the printer head,to see the water columns flow out
from the printer head if its continuous,through this you can judge if your printer head is
unobstructed.

Notice (Security considerations.)

1. Please operate this machine following the instructions.

2. Use only the type of power source indicated on the machine label.

3. If you don 't use this machine for a long time, unplug the power cord from the

electrical outlet.

4. Don't let the power cord become damaged or frayed.

5. Leave enough room around this machine,and keep it flat.

6. Do not touch any cables inside this machine under normal circumstances.

7. Be careful not to spill liquid on this machine.

8. Keep ink cartridges out of the reach of children.

9. Be careful when you change the ink cartridges or when you fill ink, please pay

attention not to damage or wet the circuit board. It will burn the mainboard.

10. If ink gets on your skin,wash it off with soap and water.If it gets in your

11.Dont put your hand inside this machine or touch any cartridges during printing.
