RESEARCH OBJECTIVE: -

1. To gain an insight into what some other competitors of the HDFC banks are doing, a few
banks would be targeted as per recommendations and requirements of the Imperia
Relationship Manager at HDFC. These banks would be Axis Bank, HSBC Bank,
Standard Chartered Bank, Citibank and ABN Amro.

2. An Imperia customer satisfaction survey would also be carried out to find out the
satisfaction levels and the suggestions by the clients.

INTRODUCTION TO THE AREA OF RESEARCH: -

HDFC Bank Imperia deals with the High Net worth Individuals (HNIs) holding at least one
saving account, sole or Joint account with HDFC bank and Maintaining a minimum Average
Monthly balance of Rs. 30 Lakhs across all Savings and Fixed Deposit accounts or maintain an
Average Quarterly Balance of Rs. 10 lakhs in Savings account. The main idea or aim behind
having a imperia club is to facilitate these HNIs who are overloaded with work and have
no time or expertise to invest.

Different Banks have different eligibility criteria’s and provide clients with various benefits and
exclusive privileges. In this thesis we will come to know Eligibility criteria’s and different
benefits & privileges provided by various banks to its clients.

SCOPE OF THESIS WORK:-

With the help of such comparative study we will get better insight of these premium banking
programs of some good banks and it will help HDFC bank to improve themselves in some
lacking areas so that they will be able to compete its competitors better.

JUSTIFICATION: - Premium banking services are the exclusive services that the banks
provide to the high net worth individuals (HNI’s) and provide benefits to these individuals. I
would like to know how different Banks go about it and how it is different from HDFC and also
how can we make it better, what are the Eligibility criteria’s to get a place in premium banking
services.

SUMMER TRAINING TOPIC: - MATERIAL COSTING

I did my summer training in Sterling and Wilson Pvt. Ltd. My project was to study their already
completed projects and to suggest them how can they earn more profit out of projects while
ordering the Material and how can they reduce the risk of cost fluctuation of material.
