Re: Whitney Gaddis

It is my pleasure to recommend Whitney Gaddis for a teaching position. I

was the instructor for one of her courses, EDFN 301: Development of Language and
Literacy, which involved a 30-hour practicum, and also the Clinical Faculty for her
Internship.

Whitney is well prepared in content and management skills to be a teacher.

She is enthusiastic, creative and a team player. She got involved in extra activities
and responsibilities along with managing a young family.

Her statements about fairness and safe learning environments were

consistent with the ways she interacted and encouraged students.

Her most recent experience with the Child Development Center seems to
have given her the opportunity to work with children as well as administrative tasks
and parents.

I recommend her highly as a teacher. She will be an asset to any faculty.

If I can be of further assistance, please contact me.

Sincerely,

Susan Heinz
