Task Description:

Objective A: Knowing and understanding.


You will demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of the ways in which artists utilise visual and popular culture as a
communication tool through your artwork.
Your planning process and design ideas should be evident within your visual diary.
You will show evidence of your understanding of the relationship between artwork and audience through the analysis and criticism of
artwork.

Objective D: Responding
You will create an artwork in response to your understanding of Pop Art through the elements and principles of art (Shape, Colour, Space,
Emphasis and proportion). You will work collaboratively on design ideas and final product to create a 3D packaging design.

Goal:

Your task is to demonstrate your understanding of the key concept Communication.


The goal is to use signs and symbols within your artwork to visually communicate to your audience.
Your artwork must directly reference Pop Art style using bold colours and eye catching text.
Think like an art critic to analysis artworks using the 4 stage model.
