3rd Grade Recess Contract

I, _________________________, understand that recess is a privilege and not a

requirement. I am lucky to be at Bellaire where we have recess each day
because some schools do not have recess. I understand that breaking this
contract will result in my recess privilege being taken away. In order to keep
my recess privileges, I promise to show my 7 habits at recess by:

1- Be Proactive -Hands AND feet to self
-no kicking, shoving, pushing
-KEEP YOUR PERSONAL SPACE
2- Begin With -Be nice to EVERYONEyou may be with these
the End In people until you graduate HIGH SCHOOL
Mind -No exclusive clubs or groups. EVERYONE is
included. We are ALL BOMBERS in the END.
-Dont do anything you wouldnt want a teacher
to know. Your friends WILL tell and we WILL find
out. Were awesome like that.
3- First Things -WALK down the breezeway. DONT RUN. It
First disturbs classes and you can trip and fall on the
cracks in the concrete.
-Do your work or youll be in study hall.
4- Win - Win -Play games where everyone can win or DONT
PLAY THEM.
5- Seek First to -If someone says they dont want to play, thats

6- Synergize -PLAY NICELY TOGETHER OR YOU WONT PLAY
AT ALL.
7- Sharpen the -Recess is your time to Sharpen the Saw by
Saw EXERCISING. Dont waste it sitting and
gossiping. You only have 15 minutesgo play
for heavens sake.
