The Occurrence Number of the Acute Myocardial Infarction with the Troponin I Label

with the Rising of Blood Glucose in Binawaluya Hospital on January-April 2016

ABSTRAK: Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) is a public health problem and the highest death
cause in Indonesia. Case fatality rate of Acute Myocardial Infarction is one of the highest than
other heart disease, 16,6% in 2002 and 14, % in 2003 according to hospital statistics in
Indonesia. The risk factors of Myocardial Infarction are ages, dyslipidemia, smoking habit,
hypertension, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and low physical activity. AMI diagnose can be
performed by : typical chest pain >20 minutes, electrocardiography (ECG) disorder, rising of
Creatinin Kinase Myocardial Bond (CKMB), cardiac specific troponin (cTn) I, etc. Acute
Myocardial Infarction (AMI) diagnose can be enforced by complying the two of three criterias;
anamnesis chest pain, ECG disorder, and rising of heart enzyme.

To find out the occurrence number of the acute myocardial infarction with the Troponin I
label with the rising of blood glucose in Binawaluya Hospital on January-April 2016.

This research is a descriptive research using secondary data in Binawaluya Hospital on


period January-April 2016. The sample of this research is 77 patients with Acute Myocardial
Infarction diagnose. The result of the secondary data is that among 77 IMA patients, there are 10
people or 19,6% with the rising of Troponin I and Blood Glucose. It is caused by the factor of
Acute Myocardial Infarction is not only diabetes mellitus.
