Its Me

I want to introduce my self. Hello, my name is Amita Pratama Putri. My friend usually
call me Amita. But, when I introduce my self to other, they always call me Amita Bachan.
Even, I dont know who is Amita Bachan. I am 19 years old now. I was born in Sidoarjo, 10th
July 1997. I live at Sidodadi village, Taman, Sidoarjo. I am first child from Mr. Kusnan and
Mrs. Mistri Setyo Tutik Anah. My father is a hard worker. He is 51 years old now. My mother
is a house wife. She is 43 years old now. I have a younger sister. She is 12 years old now. She
is still in 5th grade elementary school. Her name is Nur Rohmatul Ulumiah. My height is 163
cm. My weight is about 60 kg. I am interest with health and religion. I graduated from
Muslimat kinder garten at 2003. I continue to Islamiyah elementary school. I graduate from
there at 2009. I continue study at State Junior high school 1 Krian. I join organization intra
school. I at spiritually of islam. Start from that time, i am more interest with religion. I
graduated from there at 2012. Then, i continue to State Senior high school 1 Krian. When, i
study at senior high school, i join Young Red Cross organization. I often join competition in
Surabaya or Sidoarjo. Many experience i can get from there. At the time, i interest with
health. I graduate from senior high school at 2015. Now, I am a student at Health Polytechnic
of Surabaya.

Some good characteristics in me is always on time. For me, time is so valuable. Better, i
wait something or someone than i pass a moment. Next character is great soul. Actually, all of
the people in the world must have this character, because it is very important to coexist. I also
optimistic. When I do exams or i have problem on my life I always optimistic, I can solve my
problem. On the opposite i have five bad characteristic, too. Firstly is ignorant. Some friends
say to me if I am an ignorant people. I think if it's not my problem, I do not want to interfere,
because I think everyone has privacy or confidential respectively. I think, this indifferent
nature also declined from my mother. My mother also has the same characteristic with me.
Then, my bad characteristic is closed private. I am not easily open to others. Sometimes I also
difficult to adaptate to other people. I dont trust to others people who first i meet. I just want
tell story to my family or my friendship. I am lazy student, too. I cant manage my time well.
I always do my task when a few moment before the times up. Actually, I am a silence people.
I do not know this is a bad characteristic or good characteristic. Sometime, silence is golden,
but sometime silence is a weapon for other people. I think, many talk to other is not
important. If some people prove their kindly with many talk. I choose no. I prefer to prove
my kindly with smile. But, now I try to adapt more. Now, I stay at dormitory, so that I have
many friends to share my experience in life.

Now, I will tell you my past experience when i practice clinic at Dr. Soetomo hospital.
A few months ago, when I was in 3rd semester, i joined practice clinics at Dr. Soetomo
hiospital. It was the first time for me and my friends. Before it, we practiced at the phantom.
But, at that time, we practiced on people as the patient. We were vere excited. In there, I
worked like a true nurse. In the morning, every day we gave report about the condition of the
patient. Then, we divided the task. Some nurses injected the patient, taking care of the
wound, changed the sheets,or just gave food to the patient. We also wrote report. For the first
time. My team and i went to the Kemuning 2 room. We practiced as long as 2 weeks. We
wrote a report again. Next, we moved to Palm 2 room. In the last, we moved to Seruni B
Room. It was a challenge for our team because it was paviliun room. In this room, I got new
task, too. I must joined community public with the lecturer. I was very shocked, hear this
news because not usually the lecturer called me to follow this event. This news came three
days before event. I agree to follow because this was rare moment. Just 6 students could
follow this event to Pacitan.
Finally, I got holiday from hospital. I prepared all. I did not bring many things just
some clothes, medicines and toiletries. I went to Pacitan at 08.00 p.m. i went there by car. The
trip was so long and bored because the traffic jam and flood. My team and I arrived in
Madiun at 02.00 a.m in the morning. I ate pecel rice in a small restaurant. The pecel rice was
so delicious because it serven on bananas leaf not in a plate. All of team ate pecel rice. Then,
we continued the trip. I arrived in Pacitan 05.00 a.m. We stayed at deputy governors home.
We ate pecel rice again because pecel rice was a special menu in here. At 07.00 a.m., we went
to the hotel. I forgot the name of the hotel. We prepared all the stuff in the hall for Basic Life
Support training. This training followed by student who choosen from Senior High school in
Pacitan. One by one student came to the hotel. There was 24 student. They were ready to join
this training. The training started at 08.00 a.m. Firstly, they did the pretest. Then, the lecturer
gave their some subject about BasicLife Support until 12.00 oclock. After that, all of
participant changed the costume. They having lunch and prayed to God. They ate together.
But, diferrent in Surabaya, the student in Pacitan is not greedy, if in Surabaya the food has
gone for few minutes. After that, my lecturer, all the team and I prepared Basic Life Support
training. The time divided 3 parts. One team for BLS, one team for bandage splint, and one
team for transportation. I trained about bandage. The student were so attractive. They asked
our team many question until the training was over at 20.00 p.m. All of the participants went
to the bedroom.
They the next day, the event started at 07.00 a.m. It was our last day in Pacitan. All of
the participants did post test in the hall. The time run so fast. We stopped Basic Life Support
training in Pacitan. We gave the certificate to all participants. There was 3 best students. We
gave some merchandise for them. The Pacitans deputy governor came again. He gave speech
to the student. Then, we took photo together with him. After that, all of student went home.
My friend, my lecturer and I cleaned the hall. We prepared all of the thing to went home. We
checked all again. Then, we went to the beach to refresh. It was not long to arrive at Teleng
ria beach. We passed Susilo Bambang Yudhoyonos home in Pacitan. Our 6th president. We
arrived at Teleng ria beach at 11.00 a.m. in the morning. We tried to eat fish friesh for free.
We did not enjoy the beachjust bought some fish as souvenirs. After that, we continued the
trip. We went to the Klayar beach. The trip was so exhausting. In the car, two of my friend
nausea and vomitting, so the car must stoppat the side of the road. Finally, we arived at
Klayar beach. The view was so beautiful. But, we arrived at 12.30 p.m. So the beach was
quiet like our private beach. We run in the beach. We enjoyed the beach. We took photo
togeteher. Even, our lecturer Mr. Adji joined to take levitation phoyo with our. When i was in
Pacitan I felt know the personality of the lecturer. They may have a young soul different
when they teach me. The lecturer busually was so distinct, prudence, and stiff. They acted
like our friends. I am so happy because not all student can follow this event to the Pacitan.
Although, we feel so tired when i am in home.
I never imagined that I will be a nurse. For me a nurse is job between life and death. If
we can safe the patient, patient will be healthy. But, if we are failed, we will came to give as
death. This is a challenging job. Every day we must play with needles. So, I will do my best.
After i graduated from the college, i will work in hospital type A as a nurse. I will search
many experience in there, because in my city not all the hospital has type A and good
facilities. I will developing my nursing knowledge and also my nursing ability. While work in
hospital, I will try to register on military corps or police corps. When I was in Senior High
School, I have dream become one of members in military corps or police corps, but the
destiny is not allows. The other reason is I will realising my fathers desire to be a soldier. I
think become soldier is a noble job. From this job, we can prove our love of nation and state.
If i cant become a member of military or police corps, who knows my husband is a soldier.
After I work until 2 or 3 years, I will plan our married with a man that I wait this whole time.
I dont have special character for my husband. Anyway, he can accept me, my family and my
friend, because they are accompany me until now. Of course he love me and my family so
much. I will build my simple family. I will have 2 children, a son and a daughter. Because if
my husband and I grow old, a son can keep his sister. I will build my own home even though
just a simple home. I wont make my parents and my parents in law proud of me and my
husband. I wont make them hared when they old. Then, I will continued study to get master,
but after I get married with my husbands salaries. After I get master, I will be a lecturer. I
will share my experience and my knowledge to others. I also want go to Mecca with my
husband and my parents. I will prove one of their dream. I will educate my children better
than my parents educate me. I wont my children worst than me and my husband. I will save
money for my children, too. Because now the education is very expensive. I will build a
bakery for my mother because my mothers hobby is cooking a cake. I think a bakery is a
good business from past, now and future. I also can developing business there. When I am
old, I can continue my life from that business not just be a nurse. This is just my future
ambission. I will prove to my family, my friend and others that I can do with my spirit and
my ability. Just the power of dream, concern and pray. Allah beside us.
