NEWSREEL ARTICLE RUBRIC

Newsreel articles will be composed in either an informative, persuasive or narrative fashion. The purpose of the Newsreel
article is to compose a unique piece of text related to a news clip that we watch in class. An informative piece (become the
news reporter), persuasive (fake news/alternative facts), or narrative (become a character in the story/not based on
reality). Newsreel articles are worth 25 points each and will be collected every Friday.
