1964 50+ yrs of evolution 2017
The prestigious brand name, known worldwide, has achieved recognition ever since the 1960's for the
introduction of the multi-table sandwich type vacuum dryer into the market place. Rising customer demand
resulted in high factory output rates of this machine, rapidly leading to a major expansion of its manufacture with
the factory production area extended to 4,000 m. In the span of two decades the number of dryers built
exceeded 2,000 units, all put into service in more than 50 countries worldwide.
INCOMA further became recognized for its roll coating machinery for leather finishing, which began to replace
rotary spraying machines in the early 1970's, thanks to the savings in chemical products and the reduction of
atmospheric emissions resulting from the adoption of this new technology.
After years of consolidation and sustained production, the technology arrived at a high degree of reliability to the
point where it became a reference standard for competitors, who at that time were still at the development stage.
INCOMA was the entrepreneurial fountainhead inspiring today's vacuum dryer construction.
To keep up with the times and to make the most of the high technology becoming available in recent years, in
early 2016, INCOMA decided to set up a join research and development organization, with groups of Italian
engineers with experience in the vacuum drying processes. In early 2017, we have moved to a new factory in Fara
Vicentino and have added to our imaginative and competent professionals staffing in order to have the capacity to
develop new ranges of highly competitive products to further advance the prestigious brand name to be a
reference point for the future. The machines now in production completely fulfilling set objectives are presented in
the following pages. A new generation vacuum dryer is in prototype phase and first production machines will be
delivered within 2017.
With research and development and high-tech production in Italy, and basic carpentry and construction in our
Bangplee Thailand facility, we are able to achieve the highest applied technologies & unsurpassed workmanship
while maintaining a competitive cost level to offer a complete, reliable and affordable package.

Consisting of one or more tables in stainless steel each holding two large high condensing capacity condensers which guarantee rapid
condensation of the steam with significant time saving.
The surface finish of the table can be of two types: standard or sandblasted.
Each table is lifted by two reverse type hydraulic cylinders ensuring continuous self cleaning of the piston rod.
The cylinders are equipped with a double safety circuit preventing uncontrolled dropping down of the tables, approved by EU standards.
Closed circuit hot water heating of the tables. By means of a heat exchanger the water in closed circuit can be steam or oil heated or
alternatively by hot water supplied from existing equipment in the tannery.
The vacuum equipment, totally built in non-corrosive materials, consists of pneumatic control valves and a number of non-return valves
which, together with new type table perimeter seals, ensure constant table vacuum during the working cycle. This equipment is connected to
a vacuum pump which can be of two types: liquid water ring (PVA), or liquid oil ring (PVO), the latter with a cyclone type oil/water separator
and an oil cooler system with safety probe.
The new high adhesion table perimeter seals are held by new type membrane grip straps which guarantee a perfect vacuum seal.
Two condensate discharge units positioned near the vacuum suction exit point. This system ensures the passage of only air across the
vacuum plant, improving drying efficiency and prolonging the service life of the various components.
Table at constant working level. The Incoma low pressure table lifting system allows consistent long term functioning of all of the equipment,
thereby also safeguarding working life of components such as valves, pump, etc.
Operator control panel with all the controls and operating functions of the machine managed by a PLC unit.
Logic interface to transmit messages to and from the operator, in addition to many other functions such as managing the fault finding
program. (Only available on machines with more than 3 tables)
Programmable work cycle and a system of disabling tables if so required. Machines in accordance with "CE" safety standards are provided
with perimeter fencing.

accordance with requirements. It is possible to vary the level of the vacuum by means of a special modulating valve. Alternatively an
automatic vacuum regulation valve (optional), programmable from the operator control panel, can position itself in according to the
temperature to obtain the maximum efficiency in any climatic condition.

table temperature, the setting of cycle times, the push buttons to activate manual movement of tables and the digital logic interface which
includes all operation functions, all managed by a new generation PLC.
