In compliance to the instructions issued vide Ref. No. cited


above, I reported on yesterday (20.05.2017) to Namakkal District. In Namakkal, I
was received by Superintendent of Police Tr. Ara. Arularasu, Namakkal District. He
briefed me about the bandobust arrangements made with regard to conduct of
recruitment of Gr. II Police Personnel (men and women). I was informed that a total
of 9,680 candidates would be appearing for the examination in Namakkal District.
Vivekanandha Educational Institutions , Namakkal has been selected as the
examination venue.

2. The Superintendent of Police Tr. Ara. Arularasu accompanied me to visit to


the venue for written examination. The written examination venue, I have been
received by Dean .. of Vivekanandha Educational Institutions ,
Namakkal. I was taken around the venue which comprised five buildings, selected
for the conduct of the written examination. This campus is suitable in all regards for
conduct of the smooth written examination. All efforts were taken to ensure that
basic facilities are provided. Thereafter, I addressed the Officers and other ranks
assembled for bandobust duties with regard to the written examination. Altogether,
610 Police personnel were mobalised for bandobust duties. The SP gave a report
briefing about bandobust scheme. Later, I addressed the gathering and I like it
certain additional bandobust arrangements outside the venue for smooth flow of
traffic on SH.. (Namakkal Tiruchengode Road). Thereafter, the Officers and
men were directed to proceed to the duty spots. The SP and his team checked the
correctness of deployment.

3. On today (21.05.2017) I visited the examination venue. Alongwith SP, I


visited a few examination halls and verified the correctness of candidates with their
hall-ticket and the attendance sheets and found them to be correct. The Officers
and men on bandobust are well aware of the procedure to be followed. Gave
instructions for proper accounting of absentees and the un-used answer sheets and
question papers. The written examination has gone smoothly in this Centre without
any hindarence.

4. A total of candidates attended out of 9680 in this


Centre. Thereafter, I left Namakkal for my Headquarters.
