Alat berat khususnya excavator menjadi salah satu alat pendukung

pertambangan yang sangat penting pada proses produksi. Ketika proses
penggalian, bagian front attachment, khususnya pada aktuator yaitu silinder
hidrolik bekerja terus menerus selama proses. Hal ini tentunya akan menimbulkan
masalah yang tidak dapat dihindari. Namun, masalah yang terjadi dapat
diminimalisir dengan tindakan pencegahan dan perawatan. Adanya langkah-
langkah pencegahan dan perawatan diharapkan dapat mempermudah mekanik
dalam melakukan langkah-langkah pencegahan dan pengobatan dalam komponen
silinder hidrolik.

Metode pertama yang digunakan dalam laporan ini adalah pemahaman

literatur. Data yang diperoleh diambil dari pemahaman literatur yang mengacu
pada masalah. Kedua, metode observasi. Metode ini diambil ketika melakukan
praktek kerja industri. Metode terakhir adalah wawancara, dengan mengajukan
pertanyaan tentang masalah-masalah yang sering terjadi pada karyawan yang
berpengalaman di bidangnya.

Masalah umum dalam silinder hidrolik seperti kebocoran eksternal,

kebocoran internal dan kontaminasi dapat diminimalkan dengan tindakan
pencegahan dan perawatan, mulai dari pemilihan oli yang tepat, preventif
maintenance, dan pengoperasian unit dengan cara yang benar. Jika langkah-
langkah pencegahan dan perawatan dilakukan dengan baik, tentu perbaikan pada
komponen akan lebih mudah.

 ABSTRACT

Heavy equipment especially excavator has become one of the mining

support tools which are very important to the production processes. When the
digging process, the front attachment, especially on its actuator form of a
hydraulic cylinder is working continuously during the process. This is certainly
going to cause problems that can not be avoided. However, problems that occur
can be minimized with preventive measures and treatments. The existence of
preventive measures and treatments are expected to simplify the mechanics in
performing preventive and treatment measures in the hydraulic cylinder
components.
The first method used in this report is the understanding of literature. The
data obtained is taken from the understanding of the literature that refers to the
problem. Secondly, the method of observation. This method was taken when doing
industrial work practices. The last method is the interview, by asking questions
about the problems that often occur to employees who are experienced in their
field.
Common problems in the hydraulic cylinder such as an external leak,
internal leak, and contamination can be minimized with preventive measures and
treatment, starting from select the proper oil, preventive maintenance, and
operation of the unit with the right way. If preventive measures and treatments
performed well, certainly an improvement on the components will be much easier.
