3. Sourcing and Deploying Analytics Talent, Capability Development and Knowledge Management
Develop an evolving set of managerial literacies essential to competing on Analytics, including the ability
to find, manipulate, manage and interpret structured and unstructured data.
Conduct annual Analytics Academy to build Analytics competence and literacy
Develop sophisticated statistical model, and employ other advanced data mining techniques to find patterns in
data, perform prediction, optimization, forecasting. Projects include predicting churn, market basket analysis,
understanding customer behavior.
Manage Associate Senior Associates assigned to determine their priorities and ensure deliverables are on time
and meet requirements. Train and coach analysts for success and development.

Prepare client-ready presentations and analytical outputs as required and present findings and conclusions to
business executives.
Reporting to the CTO and working closely with the General Manager, Marketing and the rest of the client
leadership team, determine analytics and business intelligence strategy, articulate solution objectives, set
priorities and lead key initiatives consistent with GiveGet framework, processes and guidelines.
Determine the customer segmentation, measurement & reporting requirements for the client engagement,
ensuring a long term view and incorporating the full analytical life cycle.
Develop and implement the social/web and digital strategy and ensure analytical plans are prepared and
aligned with objectives.
Manage 7 Analytics staff assigned to the business team (typically 1-2 per client) to determine their priorities
and ensure deliverables are on time and meet requirements.
Train and coach analysts for success and development in web, social media and digital analytics.

Design database systems, leverage enterprise Web-based reporting solutions and facilitate information

DBMS solutions and facilitate information sharing/decision making.
Successfully cut cost and improved quality by in-housing customer retention/loyalty modeling, and
automated reporting and database management.
Research work included statistical methods for analyzing discrete data and frequency data, together
with some of the graphical methods which are useful for understanding patterns of association among
categorical variables e.g. methods for discrete frequency distributions; association plots for two-way tables;
correspondence analysis; mosaic displays and friends; effects plots for log-linear models and logistic
regression; diagnostic plots for model assumptions; and models for repeated measures.
Led the development team in the analysis, design, implementation, evaluation and deployment of
large scale text mining on text data in DB2, Oracle and SQL servers by data schema integration
Researched information retrieval of Genomics Data using Machine Learning methods that search, retrieve
and rank documents and passages according to given user keywords and specifications.
Competed in 2007 TREC Genomics Track competition held by National Institute of Standards (NIS) and US
