4 Wednesday Pray for God’s leading in this trip and open our Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to
eyes to the work that He wants us to do. Pray that his good purpose.

5 Thursday Pray for wisdom and discernment for the team 1 Kings 3:9 So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and
leaders that they will be effective in organizing and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great

Job 28:20-28 "Where then does wisdom come from? Where does

Pray that our relationship with God would be
refreshed and renewed both now and during our
time in Nicaragua.
7 Saturday Pray that all supply needs be met--even the ones
that we don’t know about yet.
8 Sunday Pray for team bonding and cohesiveness, that we
will be an effective team, and that we have true
Christ-like love for one another and for the people
of Nicaragua
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own
understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths
straight.
Proverbs 18:15 The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge; the ears of
the wise seek it out.

9 Monday Pray for God to prepare our hearts for service; and Matthew 25:35-40 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was
in our weakness let His strength be made clear for thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me
His glory in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I

10 Tuesday Pray that the team would be prepared physically, Ephesians 3:14-21 For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his

glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner
being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you,
being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints,
to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know
this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all
the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we

11 Wednesday Pray against any spiritual warfare coming against Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put
team members or the work that God has for us in on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's
Nicaragua. schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers,
against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the
spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of
God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground,
and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of
truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all

12 Thursday Pray that we have true servants’ hearts to minister Mark 10:42-45 “Jesus called them together and said, "You know that those who
to the people of Nicaragua and to each other are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials
exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become
great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be

13 Friday Pray for good health for all team members and Isaiah 40:28-31 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the

14 Saturday Pray that we keep our eyes off of ourselves and on Matthew 6:25-27 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you
Jesus; off of earthly comforts and treasures and on will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important
storing up heavenly treasures instead than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air;
they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father
feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying
can add a single hour to his life?”
Luke 14:12-14 “Then Jesus said to his host, "When you give a luncheon or
dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or relatives, or your rich neighbors;
if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a
banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed.
Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the

15 Sunday Pray that we show Christ’s love and compassion to Colossians 3:12-14 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly
the Nicaraguan people and his love, patience, and loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and
forgiveness among our group members patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have
against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues
put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
16 Monday Pray that we would follow Christ’s example of John 13:1-15 It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time

who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love. The
evening meal was being served, and the devil had already prompted Judas
