Responsible for coordinating international campaigns against NAFTA,
CETA (the Canada-European Comprehensive Economic and Trade
Agreement), the TransPacific Partnership and the China-Canada Free
Trade Agreement. Coordinated European tours to meet politicians,
media and NGOs as part of CETA campaign. Spokesperson on trade
issues in Europe and in Canada. Participated in lobbying and
parliamentary committees in Europe, Japan, and Canada. Attracted
media attention and social media interest in campaign: i.e., visit by
Jos Bov, MEP, to Canada on CETA resulted in international media

Responsible for production and logistics of a national survey of the

capacity of womens shelters to meet the needs of women with
disabilities. Managed the project, information technologies, human

2007

Management of telephone consultation service on rights and recourses

related to workplace discrimination against women. Conception and
preparation of briefs on women in non-traditional employment at the
City of Montral and for the Bouchard-Taylor Commission on
reasonable accommodation of minorities. Responsible for devising
strategy and initiatives related to womens rights and discrimination in
employment. Created promotional tools and popular education tools
for the organization. Represented the organization to partners and

GROUPES DE FEMMES DE MONTRAL 2005-2006

Organised the Tourne des arrondissements, (borough tour) meetings

between elected officials, city officials and womens groups in various
City of Montreal boroughs. Coordinated a project aimed at increasing
the presence of womens groups and women in the Citys boroughs.
Prepared sessions to educate women on new municipal structures.
Organized a debate between the status of women coordinators of the
three municipal parties during the municipal election. Produced
related communications tools.

PROJECT ORGANIZER LITERARY PRESS GROUP 2004

Managed a multimedia internet television and cross-Canada

community radio event. Prepared volunteers to interview authors from
independent publishers. Prepared a two-day live media broadcast
from the Toronto Convention Centre with volunteer interviewers.
Produced a two-CD compilation of a broadcast of author interviews.

2002-2003

With the collaboration of the Health Issues Committee, researched and

wrote a 12-page flyer concerning changes to the health system and
their impacts on women titled Les Aventures dAnnie dans le systme de
sant. Coordinated a survey of womens centres accessibility for
women with disabilities. Produced a final report outlining the survey
results and recommendations. Produced an inventory of accessibility
guides. Researched funding sources.

PUBLICIST MCGILL-QUEENS UNIVERSITY PRESS 1998-2000

Developed working relations with journalists and members of the

media across Canada to obtain coverage of newly published books.
Responsible for promoting 80 books a year on public policy, poetry,
culture and social sciences in the general media and academic journals.
Organized book launches, tours and other public events throughout
Canada, often with well-known politicians and authors, including
former Canadian prime ministers.
