Theme a / KEAN pyEY-- Ly] in Africa: The Role of Neurosc BACKGROUND The Ghana Neuroscience Symposium 2017 is being organised to build a sustainable local and global network of neuroscientists in Ghana, Africa and the world as a Whole. This conference will be a two-day programme and hosted by the School of Pharmacy, University of Ghana. The organising team are neuroscientists from the University of Ghana, KNUST, and University of Warwick, UK. This year's conference presents exciting activities such as symposium workshops, adoption of the constitution of the Ghana Neuroscience Soceety and the election of its executive members. Renowned plenary speakers have been invited. Researchers and post graduate students with interest in neuroscience Would be given opportunity to present their research findings at this symposium. Basic and dinical neuroscience researchers and specialists, as well as post graduate and undergraduate students with interest in neuroscience research would be given an opportunity to present their research findings at this symposium. It wll also be an avenue for interaction between pharmaceutical companies with neuroscience interests and neuroscentists. Prominent and renowned bascand clinical neuroscientists will be present at this gathering. We are therefore inviting papers under the following categories: + neuropharmacology, neuro-anatomy, neurophysiology, clinical neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry, neurology, neurosurgery and neuroscience-related disciplines. Instructions for submitting an Abstract + Submit an abstract with not more than 250 words to, gns@ug.edu.gh latest by June 30, 2017. Abstracts must contain the following information: Title, Name(s), Department(s), Institution(s) and email ‘address(s) of the corresponding author. Authors should also indicate whether a submission is for oral ‘or poster presentation.
