Prophets and Messengers

A prophet/messenger is chosen by Allah, they are the bringers of a divine revelation and hold/
carry a message or a book. All messengers are prophets but not all prophets are messengers. All
the messengers carry a message but not all the messengers have books. Each Prophet was
given a message to a different group of people. The message was the oneness of Allah and to
reject false beliefs, Show the rewards for obedience and the consequences for disobedience
(Heaven, Hell), to worship Allah and to avoid the Iblis and making sins. As the Quran says And
certainly We sent to every nation a Messenger (saying): Worship Allah and
avoid false gods. Quran 16:36.
Prophets do not make any mistakes nor do they commit any sins. A lot of people
believe that Prophet Ibrahim (SAW) committed 3 mistakes, telling his father he was sick
and couldnt worship the idols, telling everyone that the big idol broke all the other idols
and telling Lady Sara to tell the leader she is her brother. But thats not true he wasn't
lying, for the first one Ibrahim (SAW) said that he was sick, sick of them worshiping
idols, the second was that he was trying to get them to realise and say that the big idol
can't do anything, talk, speak, move. The third one was that everyone is brothers and
sisters in Islam. People also believe that Adam (SAW) made a mistake of eating from
the tree but at that time Prophet Adam (SAW) wasn't a Prophet.
Prophets need certain qualities such as wisdom as Prophet Muhammed (SAW) showed when
uniting tribes that were enemies into a peaceful community. The persistence of Prophet Noah
(PBUH) when he was calling people to worship Allah and to become Muslim even though not
many accepted his message. Courage, when Ibrahim at a very young age denied and rejected
worshipping idols at a young age. Leadership, when Moussa (SAW) directing his people to leave
and escape from the Pharaoh and patience like Prophet Isa (SAW) facing many hardships by his
people. All Prophets carry out these traits and qualities. As it says in the Quran and Prophet
Muhammed (SAW) said: It has been revealed to me that your God is One God. So
whoever expects to meet his Lord then let him do good deeds and associate none
as a partner in the worship of his Lord.
All Prophets are prophets before they were born besides Adam (SAW). Allah gives each
prophet a message to give to a different group of people in their own language And
We sent not a Messenger except with the language of his people, in order
that he might make (the Message) clear for them Quran 14:4. Prophets
were given messages such as: The Last Day, Oneness, The Quran and more.
