Taught 6th grade science/social studies in an urban, culturally diverse school within the Columbus
City School District. Taught and planned in 6th grade subjects of social studies and science. Assisted
in teaching math and language arts as well.
Participated in parent teacher conferences and established contact with parents.
Established effective rapport with students while maintaining proper classroom management.
Helped individual students and taught whole group lessons, differentiated for meeting different
ability levels and emotional needs.
