meaning of things that they watch/ listen about Mexican culture (behavior) after this
activity process (condition).

After teacher attracts childrens attention, she presents the Prezi about Mexican culture.
They talk about the culture (music, foods, flag etc.). Then, teacher entered the music.
Child who wears Mexican hat dance and other imitate him.

Mexican together, and they share their
knowledge.
Summary
Teacher wears a Mexican hat and enters to class. Firstly, she draws attention. Then,
she shows her hat and asks children: what is this? Why I wear it? Why can it so big?
Have you ever seen it in our country? Which country this hat belongs to? With these
questions, teacher starts a discussion in class. Children guesses several countries. Then,
teacher says the hat belongs to Mexica. Then, she starts to mention about the country.
She opens the Prezi. In this presentation, teacher and children continues to talk about
foods, flag, clothes etc. according to picture in Prezi. After presentation, each child says
her/his own opinion about Mexican culture. Then, teacher provides children make a
perfect circle. Then, she starts the Mexican music. Then, she puts the hat to one childs
head. Child who wears the hat gets the middle of circle, and starts to dance. Other
children imitate him. Then, that child puts the hat to another friends hat. This process
continues until all children wear the hat and dance. At the end of the activity, teacher
makes transition to assessment part and starts to ask questions.
Measurement & Evaluation
Teacher asks assessment questions to the children to evaluate the learning process.

How are the Mexican foods/ clothes/ flag?
Affective Quesitons:
How would you feel, if you ate too spicy food?
How did you feel, when you wear Mexican hat and dance with it?
Daily Life Questions:
How are our clothes in daily life?
How are our traditional clothes?
Goal Oriented Questions:
What are the differences between our culture and Mexican culture?
Measurement & Assessment Activities for All children draw a picture about Mexican
Group Performance culture at the end of the activity, and they
explain their picture.

Homework (optional) Children are expected to prepare a poster


about Mexican culture with their family,
and they bring them to class and explain it
to his/her friends.
Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
If teacher cannot open the Prezi because of any problem, s/he prints the pictures in
Prezi. Then, she cuts and paste them to big cartoons. She pastes them on the wall. With
this way, lesson plan is occurred.
