LEADERSHIP STYLES

I. RATIONALE/REASON

Every leader has his on way and styles in leading a group or a company that he
manages. Many companies now a days are boosting their companies name in the global
market or global economy. How is this being possible?There are many factorsto associate
in this success.This might be because of the employees who are motivated enough in
doing their task, the coordination and rapport among others etc.

There are different leadership styles; The Autocratic where in the leader exerts
high levels of power over his or her employees or team members, the Bureaucratic
leaders work by the book, ensuring that their staff follow procedures exactly, A
charismatic leadership style can appear similar to a transformational leadership style,
in that the leader injects huge doses of enthusiasm into his or her team, and is very
energetic in driving others forward, the People-Oriented Leadership or Relations-
Oriented Leaders where in the leader is totally focused on organizing, supporting and
developing the people in the leaders team, A participative style, the leader tends to lead
to good teamwork and creative collaboration. However, taken to extremes, it can lead to
failure to achieve the teams goals.

III. REACTION PROPER

Different leadership styles can be applied depending on a situation. Any style can
be utilized as long as it is suited and effective as an approach to be used. This is credited
on his leadership style and on how he apply it on every aspect. But the most important
factor is on how the leader or manager leads the group.

There is no one right way to lead or manage that suits all situations. The leader
should consider the skill levels and experience of the members of the team, the work
involved, and the organizational environment.

IV. CONCLUSION

A good leader will find him or herself switching instinctively between styles
according to the people and work they are dealing with. Whether you are managing a
team at work, captaining your sports team or leading a major corporation, your leadership
style is crucial to your success. Consciously, or subconsciously, you will no doubt use
some of the leadership styles featured at least some of the time. By understanding these
leadership styles and their impact, you can become a more flexible, better leader.

V. RECOMMENDATION

The best leaders are not only those who will give a name on their companies but
those who know how to lead and deal with their people. In many circumstances, leaders
are the main reason for the success and failures of their group or companies. Therefore,
leaders should be more specific on the leadership style that they will utilize. They should
be more aware on the proper or appropriate leadership style to be applied and developed.
The most important thing to consider is, every leader should have unique leadership style
in order to lead better.
