WHAT LIES AHEAD?

My Learning Episode Overview


My first episode will explain the expectations of my Teacher Education Institution Saint Columban College
and my Cooperating School Saint Columban College High Department. This will allow me to better understand
the dos and donts of teaching in the real workplace. The orientation conducted by my practicum supervisor and the
cooperating principal will ensure success as a student intern.
My Targets (Learning Outcomes)
At the end of this activity, I will be able to:
Analyze the expectations of my cooperating school and that of my teacher education institution.
Reflect on the things I need to do to become a successful students intern.
Follow all the policies and procedures of my cooperating school.
Accomplish the matrix of expectations.
Write my responsibilities as a student intern.

To get to know my cooperating school better, I must do the following:
Read the vision, mission, goals and core values of the school.

Attend the orientation session with my practicum supervisor


and cooperating principal.

Record important notes during the orientation.

Ask questions, if necessary.

Accomplished the Learning Episode.


My Big Ideas (Learning Essentials)
As a student intern, I need to know the following terms to full understand my learning episodes.
ORIENTATION: I am oriented that in for me to accomplished my Practice Teaching, I must obey the obligation
and responsibility of being a student teacher. I need to cooperate with my critique and supervisor teacher to
complete my tasks.
EXPECTATION: I expected to learn more things related in teaching and know how to manage a real class
setting and also what are the things required for a teacher that needed to comply.
COOPERATING SCHOOL: Saint Columban College-High School Department was located in Santo Nio
District, Pagadian City.
COOPERATING PRINCIPAL: Mr. Gilbert A. Celesio is the school principal and my practicum supervisor.

Orientation sessions are conducted because we
must be guided of anything we might encounter during
our actual duty in the school. It also serve as a know

towards our cooperating teacher, supervisor and school.
