IT INFRASTRUCTURE
Operations in BICS are fully IT enabled. BICS is equipped with the latest hardware and software related to
engineering. The IT Security has been provided through Firewalls. Latest Intrusion Prevention System, End
Point Protection, Encrypted file system, Personal Firewalls and Virus Management to provide multilayered
security and ensures that our IT systems are extremely secure. In order to achieve good level of protection,
Anti-virus protection is installed at all level. A detailed process has been planned for data archiving, backup
and recovery management. For messaging applications, we use Microsoft as messaging platform. This also
provides support for POP3 and IMAP clients.
BICS is using Windows Vista, Windows 10. To login and access all devices in our network, we have Active
Directory using Windows Server 2010. Red Hat Linux is used for Firewall security and mailing solutions.
BICS is using various front end and backend software for Civil Engineering, Architectural, GIS, Application,
Web Development and Multimedia. Some of the Front End software are AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Staad
