WORK 6

FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS OF A HYDRAULIC

SCHEME PIECE P.H.40

6.1 General consideration

Hydraulic presses is characterized in that the deformation of the working material at a
relatively constant speed even if forces have a large variation. At the same time, it ensures large
deformation forces that allow accumulation due to a potential energy that can be converted in the
active flights in the work of deformation without necesa resisteme mechanical transmission.

Processing is achieved even in small working speeds by redistributing the blank material
under the action of forces that are applied can be considered static.

The hydraulic presses has the following advantages:

likelihood of automated work cycles and ease of altering the characteristics of these
cycles;
easily achieve the forces and high power with simple hydraulics and Miniature;
higher order light energy accumulated and permanent control of the force available;
possibility of obtaining a continuous variation of the speed of the working and the
possibility of its automatic adjustment in operation, in accordance with a previously
determined cycle;
slight reversal of direction movement with high dynamic loads;
quiet operation, no noise and vibration;
possibility centralized servicing of a group of presses.

6.2 Description of the machine

PH Press 40 whose operation and hydraulic diagram will be studied, manufactured in
Romania to I.M. Sibiu.She is part of a machine designed execution of a wide range of processing
forming and pressing. Can run on this machine extrusion, stamping, bending, profiling,
straightening, cutouts, perforations, etc. In addition the assembly can be executed by pressing.
By equipping them with special devices - turntable and pointing device - field of machine is
much increased. PH Press 40 may be operated either. It is controlled by electro devices. The
frame in shape of C, it isnmade of sheet metal by welding on it are fixed the guides, and in one
compartment sealed from the middle to put the oil tank.

In Figure 6.1 a, b, c shown P.H.40 general assembly of the press. to the frame 1 are fixed all
the subassemblies that make up the car. At the top is Rating 2 fixed engine that drives the piston
rod slider 3-3 or 3 R. Table 4 is provided with T-slots, crossing bores and tapped holes, for fixing
the pressing device for driving rods passing through disposal system of the device pressed parts.
5 hydraulic cushion allows the stamping small and medium depth. The limitation of travel is
slider with two stops, 6 adjusted to the length of travel required operations to be running the
press. 7 console allows remote operation of starting a new cycle cinematic.In space from the
middle of the bed frame constituting the oil tank is assembled cooling system 8 with which
ensures maintenance of the hydraulic fluid temperature within a well-functioning electric

Perna has hihidraulic through a separate drive motor that puts 2,2kW operating a second
axial piston pump with working pressure 20 ...... 40 ...... 250 bar and debit 2 liters / minute.

Technical and geometrical characteristics of the media are given in Table 6.1.In Figure 6.2
shows a drawing hydraulic press.

Figure 6.2. Scheme hydraulic press PH 40.

The entire hydraulic system is designed to produce, distribute, regulate and control
hydraulic power required to operate the slider and hydraulic cushion. The hydraulic system
consists of three circuits:
main motor circuit;
circuit hydraulic cushion
control circuit.
The first two circuits working at high pressure, 250 bar, and the last working at low pressure,
20 bar. The control circuit is driven by a motor of 2.2 kW by means of a gear pump that provides
a flow rate of 40 liters / min and a pressure of 25 bar.

6.3 Main motor circuit

When the slider is at rest, debit oil pump 1 through 7 retailer by the central reservoir. After
the command is given by electromagnets E1 or E2 - or by manual actuation lever m - oil control
circuit is fed into one end of the distributor 7. This moving towards controlled circuit connects
the top and bottom of the cylinder main engine in order to perform the lifting or lowering of the
press ram. The main motor circuit is protected by the pressure relief valve 10 set at 260 bar.
Pressure control circuit is done using preorder valve special valve that pilots 5. 14 gauge with
contact pressure circuit 16 allows tracking of work and ensure the press off if it exceeds the
preset limit. Main engine components are shown in Figure 6.3.

6.4 Circuit hydraulic press

At the time when the hydraulic cushion, Figure 6.4, is at rest, debit pump oil through
distributor 6 in the central reservoir. Operation command is made by electro-hydraulic cushion
E3 and E4 and sertraul 8. When one of the two electromagnets driven, the oil in the control
circuit is directed to one end 6. Sertraul sertraului distributor will move thus making the
connection circuit with hydraulic cushion. The liquid will enter either the top or the bottom of the
hydraulic cushion piston stroke determining the performance of its lowering or lifting. The
control circuit is protected by limiting valve 11 set at 260 bar.

While performing cupping, when the press ram descends cushion hydraulic piston is pushed
down. The distributor 6 is in the position drawn in figure 6.2, a position at which the oil at the
bottom of the hydraulic cylinder cushion is guided to the reservoir by pre-ordering the valve 13
assembled in the side circuit.15 gauge indicates pressure during discharge. Figure 6.4. P.H.40
media presents the structural cushion.

6.5 Control circuit

The third pump puts the oil in the control circuit. When the circuit is blocked, the oil from
the pump is directed to the tank via the relief valve 12.Comanda slider can be accomplished
either electrically or manually via the inverter 24.In case of electrical control, the distributor 24,
the coupling 25 and the distributor switch 22 They are in the position drawn in Figure 6.2.
Corresponding to this position, pump 3 makes through drawers electromagnetic 8 and 9, piloting
distributors 6 and 7.

the control circuit described above, the pump is used to drive the 3 May rotary table which can
be equipped with the press.
