Change Management

What are the top three insights you have gained about organizational behavior from this

course, and how can you apply those insights to your current and future career plans?

In this course we learned a lot of things about organizational behavior, I believed that I

know some concepts and things about that, but during the course, I realize the importance of

having a healthy work environment getting achieve that by managing the best possible the

organizational behavior.

One of the topics I liked was the organizational socialization because when we know

worker in a company we need to have skills that help us to acclimate and adapt in the best way

with the business, I mean socialization means ( Kreitner, R., & Kinicki, A. (2013)) " is the

process by which a person learns the values, norms, and required behaviors which permit him to

participate as a member of the organization". Is the biggest part of the manager I think, because

he is the one who could make this process easier by a good leading and persuading that allow the

workers be together creating a healthy work environment, since the leadership allows an

involving for every part of the company to focus their efforts to accomplishing the organizational

objectives.

Derived from this topic another thing I think is crucial is the diversity and how managing

this to create one route with a teamwork together focused to achieve their goals in a efficient and

efficacy way, most of the biggest companies around the globe have employees from many

countries.
LEADERSHIP 3
So they have different cultures and life styles, that's why this seems me interesting, the

power of leadership has a big importance in this process, manager needs to provide tools and

ways to every single employee that doesn't know the culture of the place where is working, with

the tools I mean to provide information about the most important things of the country, food,

lifestyle, etc. All this help the manager with the employees with a foreign assignment, that means

to send people to another country to work, and obviously they need this tools to make a good

adaptation and then do a good job.

The last important thing I liked was the organizational change, this topic in particular I

think is the vast importance that we as future managers needs know everything possible about it,

since I believed that the success of a company or business sometimes needs a hanger in their

strategies or in the ways of working, I mean problems always appear and the managers are there

to solve and handle it, sometimes is necessary a change, we need to analyze the causes of the

problem and evaluating if is the case, if the strategies or the ways to do the work are right or if

we need to change it, but this change isn't easy, many times the employees rejected the change is

where the leadership acts to make easier to accept the change and putting clear that is beneficent

to company.

Many topics, concepts, and cases of study were studied, this course help me a lot with the

learning of many things that O didn't know, strategies to dominate the behavior inside the

company, the proceed of adaptation by employees, the managing of the diversity, today, I already

know that managers need to have many skills such as leadership that allow managers involve the

employees efforts to accomplish the objectives of the organization, many problems could appear,

but I know many ways to solve them with a good teamwork that makes the things easier.
LEADERSHIP 4
This course was for me a grateful way to understand that we all are different but if there

is a good leadership to show us the way, we even being different can work together and achieved

the goals established.
