legaladvisor,pleader,proxy,oradvocate,onewhocomesforwardinbehalfofandastherepresentativeofanother.In1John2:1,Christiscalledour
IntercessoryAdvocate,whopleadsourcasewiththeFather.TheHolySpiritwitnessesconcerningJesus(John14:1617a,26).TheHolySpiritpleads
Godscausewithus(John16:15).

Pleadisalegalword,meaningtomakeapleainalegalaction,toputforwardalegaldeclaration,ortoaddressacourtasanadvocate.Pleadingourcase
anddetailingourargumentspleasesGod,helpsusunderstandtheneedmorecompletely,movesourcompassion,strengthensourdetermination,andstirs
