Tax levied by the Government to reinforce the water conservation message.

Sanitary Appliance Fee and Waterborne Fees

Statutory charges are payable to the PUB under the Sewerage and Drainage (Sanitary Appliances and Water Charges)
Regulations to offset the cost of treating used water and for the operation and maintenance of the public sewerage system.

As reflected in the water utility bill, these charges are identified as the Sanitary Appliance Fee and the Waterborne Fee.

The Sanitary Appliance Fee is a fixed component levied based on the number of chargeable sanitary fittings; and the
Waterborne Fee is a variable component levied based on the volume of water used in any premises.

Tariffs/Fees
Charges are given in Singapore currency.
