Job Purpose The Communications Officer will provide a range of support functions for all
areas of the Communications Teams work.
Salary Grade HMGN261 (20,400 27,700)

Grade TBC

Hours 36 hours

Location Main location: 346 Kensington High Street, London W14 8NS

Responsibilities
Write news, corporate information and staff activity items for website,
intranet and e-mail bulletins to keep staff and members of the public up
to date with company activities.

Write press releases for the local and specialist press, and respond to
ad hoc press enquiries to ensure that we maximise media coverage of
our achievements and manage media relations effectively.

Support the Head of Communications so that that the intranet becomes


a key internal communications tool, and that all colleagues can easily
access key corporate and employee engagement information.

Assist with the writing and editing of a wide range of publications to


ensure that these reflect our corporate values and help us to
communicate effectively.

Assist with the writing of copy for advertisements and promotional


materials to ensure that KCTMO portrays itself in a professional
manner in accordance with the communications strategy.
Assist with the organisation of promotional events, both internally and
externally, including the annual staff and residents conferences.

Check, edit, proof read and amend as required items for publication
and distribution provided by other staff.

Upload items and make basic changes to the internet and intranet.

Order business cards, tenant information leaflets and other centralised


publications.

Manage the teams photograph library: indexing images, producing


contact sheets and responding to internal and external requests for
images.

Provide support to staff by preparing presentations and exhibition


materials, managing the booking of exhibition materials and providing
support for the audio visual equipment in the conference rooms.

Carry out miscellaneous graphic support, including scanning, creating


PDF files, supplying logo artwork, etc.

Undertake other duties relevant to the nature, scope and level of the
role as necessary.
