Advertisement to be published on 08.06.2017 or 09.06.2017 in Newspapers(one Hindi


and one English newspaper). Interview will be conducted only for all PGTs, FCSA, Art
Teacher, Music Teacher, PET, and Staff Nurse &Hospitality and tourism Teacher. For
TGTs(Maths, science, SST, Hindi, English, IIIrd language)&Librarian the panel will be
prepared on mark basis as per guidelines given in Annexure-III. Specimen copy of
advertisement is annexed herewith in Annexure-VI. Candidates will report and submit their
application form in prescribed proforma along with copies of testimonials for the post of
TGTs (Maths, science, SST, Hindi, English, IIIrd language) & Librarian on the specified date
of personal verification of records.

3 Educational ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualification
(A) Candidates qualified CTET [Except for the post of TGT (Urdu)] conducted
by CBSE will be eligible for the interview. However, in case the CTET
qualified candidates are not available the nodal committee will decide for
the candidates qualified in TET conducted by the State Government. The
nodal committee will consist of 05 members with atleast 03 Educationist
from neighbouring Vidyalaya at the nodal centre for taking the decision.

(B) Four years integrated degree Course of Regional College of Education of
NCERT with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the
aggregate.

OR
A Bachelors Degree from a recognized University with 50% marks or
above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subject comprising the
combination as under:

(i) TGT(Hindi) : Hindi as an


Elective subject at Degree level.
B.Ed or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.

(ii) (ii) TGT(English): English as


an Elective subject at Degree level.
B.Ed or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.

(iii) TGT(Maths)
1. The candidate should have studied Maths, Physics and Chemistry
during all three years of graduation.
2. In case of such Universities which provide for only two subjects
out of the three as mentioned above, in the final year of graduation,
the candidate should have studies Math and Physics in the final
year of examination and all the three subjects, viz. Math, Physics
and Chemistry in the first and second years of graduation.
3. Candidates who have passed B.Sc. degree with Honors in Math
subject would be considered eligible only if they have studied
Physics and Chemistry in first and second year of the course.
Candidates with B.Sc.(Hons.) in Phy. or Chem. are not eligible for
the post of TGT(Math).
4. Candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate
in the graduation degree also.

5. B.Ed or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.

(iv) TGT(Science)
1 The candidates should have studied Bot., Zool. and Chem. during
all the three years of study in Graduation.

2 In case of such Universities which provide for only two subjects in


the final year of graduation the candidates should have studied any
of the two subjects out of Botany, Zoology and Chemistry in the
final year of examination and all the three subjects i.e. Bot., Zool.
& Chem. in the first and second year of graduation.

3 In case of Honours degree in any of the above mentioned three


subjects the candidate must have studied other two subjects in the
first and second year of the course.

4 Candidates should have secured 50% marks in aggregate in the


graduation degree also.

5 B.Ed or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.

(v) TGT(S.St.)

1. The candidates should have studied any of the two subjects out
of the following subject combination in graduation:-

(a) History with Geography/Economics/ Political Science
or

(b) Geography with History/Economics/ Political Science

2. History/Geography as above, should have been studied for all


three years in the graduation.

3. In case of Honours degree in History the candidates should have


studied Geography/ Economics/Political Science in 1st and IInd
years. Similarly in case of honours degree in Geography the
candidate should have studied History/Economics/Pol. Science in
Ist and IInd year. Candidates with B.A.(Hon.) in Economics or
Pol. Science are not eligible for the post of TGT(S.St.).

4. Candidates should have secured with at least 50% marks in


aggregate in the graduation degree also.

5. B.Ed or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.

6. TGT(URDU)
(a) Urdu as an elective subject at degree level.
(b) Competence to teach through English and Hindi/concerned
Regional Language as the case may be.
(c) B.Ed. or equivalent qualification from recognized

ANNEXURE-I
GENERAL INFORMATION:

1 The Contractual appointment will be purely on temporary basis upto 30.04.2018 or joining of regular
incumbent whichever is earlier.
2 The candidates posted at hard station i.e. JNV, Champawat, TehriGarhwal, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi,
Bageshwar, Chamoli and Pithoragarh under the State of Uttrakhand will get remuneration as under:
(a) PGT - Rs.32,500/-
(b) TGT - Rs.31,250/-
(c) Misc. - Rs.31,250/-
3 In addition to above remuneration, candidates posted in JNVs of UP or Uttrakhand will be entitled for
free Boarding & Lodging facilities as and when available.

4 The candidates applying for TGT (excluding TGT Urdu) must be CTET/TET qualified (conducted by
CBSE/State Government).

5 Candidates should report at the venue of Interview/ verification of documents in person on the date
given above at 9.00 AM with original certificates, marks sheet and with a set of Photostat copies of
educational qualification, experience and one recent passport size photograph to be pasted in the Bio-
data form and identification proof like Voter ID, Aadhar Card or Identity Card issued by Govt. School
and college etc.

6 No TA/DA etc. will be paid to the candidates for attending Walk-in-Interview. Or for verification of
document for TGTs(Maths, science, SST, Hindi, English, IIIrd language) and Librarian..

7 Retired NVS teachers may also apply (in case they are found physically and mentally fit for teaching
job).

8 Since the Walk-in-Interview will be conducted in all JNVs on the above dates, hence the candidates are
advised to report at the respective JNVs as per their convenience and choice.Without reporting in person
for verification of documents, the application of candidate will be rejected.

9 This appointment is on contractual basis and can be terminated at any time by giving one month
notice or one month remuneration/honorarium in lieu of one month Notice period by either of
party. In case of joining of regular teacher, no honorarium/remuneration in lieu of notice period
will be paid by the Principal of JNV concerned. The candidates who will be offered contract
appointment will have to execute a Contract Agreement on Rs.10/- Non-Judicial Stampon the
prescribed format of contract agreement to the Principal of the respective JNV.

ANNEXURE-II

INSTRUCTIONS TO PRINCIPALS FOR CONDUCT OF WALK-IN-INTERVIEW


(NOT TO BE UPLOADED ON THE WEBSITE)

1. The Principals will make all arrangement for the walk in interview starting from
advertisement, formation of interview boards with subject experts etc.

2. Total cost of interview should be kept at minimum not more than Rs.12,000/- to
Rs.15000/- (Rupees Twelve Thousand to Fifteen Thousand only) approximately.
If more fund is required approval should be required prior to the incurring of
expenditure with genuine reasons.

3. Panel will be prepared on computer in descending order of merit i.e. first, second,
third and so on as per maximum marks secured. The original panel prepared at JNV
is to be submitted to RO within seven days of completion of the interviews in a sealed
envelope.

4. The posting of teachers on contract basis and other staff will be made by the Principal
himself/herself and in case of shortage in panel, Principal can request to neighbouring
Principal for suitable candidates from selected panel in order of merit.

5. The interview board will consist of five members. One subject expert and one
educationist of nearby reputed college/university can be invited as Chairman of
interview board who will not be less than a Professor/Reader ( in service or retired).
The members of the Vidyalaya appointment committee will be the member in this
board.
6. Cost of advertisement should be at the barest minimum possible. An abridged
advertisement may be given in newspaper on DAVP rates and detail advt./information
should be uploaded in the website of the respective JNV.

7. List of candidates as per selected panel will be displayed in JNV website.

8. Criteria for selection of contractual staff will be as per Annexure-II. Experience in


Govt. residential schools only to be considered for maximum 5 years @ 2 marks for
completed year. For staff nurse, experience will be counted 10 marks.2 marks for
each completed year.

9. Proper safety security arrangement should be made by the Principal on the dates of
walk-in-interview.
10. In case of any difficulty or clarification, please contact this office.

11. The outside members for Interview can be paid an honorarium of Rs.1500/- per day.
This will include conveyance expenses also.

12. It will be responsibility of the Principal to see that the guide lines given above are
strictly adhered to for the process of walk-in-interview.
