    Cornell Lawhorn was born on September 1, 1951, to J.L. and Annie Lawhorn in Cincinnati, Ohio. He departed this life on June 2, 2017. Preceding him in death are his parents: J.L. and Annie Lawhorn, and brothers Michael and Ronnie Lawhorn and Stepmother Alene Harper. Cornell attended Cutter Junior High School and Taft High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Cornell confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at Southern Baptist Church. Cornell later became a member of The House of Joy, where he remained until his passing. Cornell leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of forty-four years, Edna Washington-Lawhorn, his children, Litasha, Cornelia, Donnell, and 12 grandchildren; siblings, Jenise Lawhorn-Brassell, Johnny Lawhorn, Evelyn (Harold) Harper, Anginette (Richard) Hinton, John Lawhorn, Alphonso Anthony, Phillip Anthony, David (Tosha) Anthony, Jimmy Anthony, Johnnie Mae (Marshall) Wells, Essie (Angelo) Walker, Bessie Little, Michelle Dean, Kathleen (Thomas) Bowman, Cousin, Sylvester Storey, best friend, Kenny Brown, along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.

    Memories
    The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down
    in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth
    my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name'
    sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I
