Specification of Indian Standard Sand

The standard sand is obtained from Ennore, Chennai which is processed and distributed by
TAMIN, an undertaking by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The sand conforms as per the
standards of code issued by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), IS 650 1991.
