Culture is not only language, cuisine, arts; culture
is a set of values and beliefs that influence
behaviour and attitudes of people.

Learning about the culture is not enough; the goal

culture.

Cultural misunderstandings;
Homesickness;
But its a Priceless experience

that can be acquired only through
studying/living abroad

Life-changing experience
A year and a half in Latvia taught us:

Not to take everything personally;


To interact with people from completely different
cultures; respect their opinions and values;
To express ideas and intentions (sometimes even in
gestures);
To laugh at awkward situations and take them as
useful experience;
To adapt to new places, styles of life, and even
absorb some character traits.
Conclusion
Studying/living abroad is fun
Its challenging too
But its the challenges that make
up your invaluable experience
