VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
1.0 NATURE AND SCOPE
The PPF Pensions Fund was established by the PPF Pensions Fund Act [Cap 372 R.E 2002] as amended time
to time with the objective of providing pensions and other related terminal benefits to all employees in the formal
and informal sectors.

Fund Vision is to be a model provider of comprehensive Social Security Services and its mission is to provide
quality pensions and allied benefits to members through utilization of dedicated human capital and modern
technology with high degree of accuracy and promptness.
We are seeking to fill the position of Risk Management Manager - 01 Post with the specific requirements as
follows:

2.0 RISK MANAGEMENT MANAGER - 01 POST


The Risk Management Manager is expected to carry out below duties;
2.1 Duties and Responsibilities

(i) To Lead and provide the vision and direction for the risk management function;

(ii) To establish an integrated firm-wide framework for measuring and monitoring all aspects of
risk across the Fund. These risks include solvency (capital), liquidity, credit, currency, market
(position), and interest rate, counterparty (strategic and legal risk);

(iii) To implement a set of risk measurements and reports including losses, incidents, key risk
exposures and early warnings indicators;

(iv) To allocate risk based economic capital to business activities and risk transfer strategies;
(v) To improve the Funds risk management readiness through communication and training
programs, risk-based performance measurement and incentives and change management
programs;

(vi) To develop risk mitigation strategies for the Funds critical risks and monitoring these risks;

(vii) To developed risk technologies including management information system to support the risk
management program;

(viii) To keep up-to-date with new risk management techniques and thinking;
(ix) To conduct staff, management activities, supervision, appraisal, coaching and training needs
assessment;
(x) To carry out any other lawful work related duties as assigned by supervisor.

2.2 Qualifications

The ideal candidate should be a holder of Masters Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Risk and Risk Management
with CII, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or its equivalent from a recognized institution and has
served in a relevant field for at least five years work experience in a senior Risk Management or similar role.

3.0 REMUNERATION
The successful candidates will be offered attractive and competitive remuneration packages consistent with
PPF Pensions Fund Remuneration Scheme.
