Motor Can be Operated on Either Alternating
Current or Direct Current
‘The electric motor, which ix Ioeated at the back

Points to Determine Before Connecting
Motor to Electric Service Line
Obtain the following information from the Hlec-
(ie Light Company whieh supplles the clestric
fourent for the eireuit to which the motor is to
be connected:

name plate of the motor

To Disassemble the Needle Thread Tension
‘Tura the thumb nut (B, Fig. 20) to the left until
it stops at “0” on the nurubefed dial then press in
