ABSTRACT

MUZDALIFAH. 2017. The influence of intellectual, Emotional and Spiritual


Intelligences on Students Learning Result in Natural Science at Public Junior High
School in Sinjai District (supervised by Muhammad Jufri and Andi Munisa).

The objectives of the research are to discover (i) the Intellectual intelligence
of the student at Public Junior High School in Sinjai District, (ii) the Emotional
intelligence of the student at Public Junior High School in Sinjai District, (iii) the
Spiritual intelligence of the student at Public Junior High School in Sinjai District,
(iv) the influence of Intellectual intelligence on Natural Science learning result of
class VIII student at Public Junior High School in Sinjai District, (v) ) the influence
of Emotional intelligence on Natural Science learning result of class VIII student at
Public Junior High School in Sinjai District, (vi) ) the influence of Spiritual
intelligence on Natural Science learning result of class VIII student at Public Junior
High School in Sinjai District, and the influence of intellectual, emotional, and
spiritual intelligence simultaneously on Natural Science learning result of class VIII
student at Public Junior High School in Sinjai District.
The research is Ex post facto. The population of the research were all of class
VIII student at Public Junior High School in Sinjai District of academic year
2016/2017, consisted of 5 school with the total of 778 students. The samples were
taken by using area sampling technique and obtained 233 students. The data
collection technique used was questionnaire of intellectual, emotional, and spiritual
intelligences. The data analysis technique employed Multiple Regression technique
with the help of SPSS program version 20 for windows. Before hypothesis test was
conducted, analysis requirement test was conducted beforehand in forms of
normality and linearity test.
The result of the research reveal that (i) most of students intellectual
intelligences is in very high category, most of students emotional intelligences is in
medium category and the most of the students spiritual intelligences in high
category, (ii) there is positive and significant influence of the students intellectual
intelligences on the students learning results. The intellectual intelligences has strong
influence on the students learning results, (iii) there is positive and significant
influence of the students emotional intelligences on the students learning results.
The emotional intelligences has strong influence on the students learning results, and
(iv) there is positive and significant influence of intellectual, emotional, spiritual
intelligence simultaneously of the students learning results. The intellectual,
emotional, spiritual intelligence have fairly strong influence on the students learning
results.
