General Objectives By the end of Form _2_ / By the end of this semester, students should be able to read
with a correct pronunciation of words related to health problems.
Learning Outcomes By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
1. Read the text with correct pronunciation of the words related to the health
problems.

2. List down 5 words related to the health problems.

3. Write 5 simple sentences by using the words related to the health problems.
Contents 1. Read about the text about the health problems with correct pronunciation
stress on the wording that related with health problems. e.g. influenza, acne,
dandruff, body odour.

Prior Knowledge Students have learned the following items in previous classes:

1. Teacher shows a flipchart about the picture of health problems e.g.


dandruff, influenza, acne. Then, the teacher asks question to the students
for example, what happen to the man?, what are the condition of the man?,
what happen to the man? to stimulates schemata of the students. Student
giving a feedback based on the picture of the flipchart to develop students
in speaking skills in the class. Teacher introduces the topic that will be

1. Students are asked to sit in pairs to encourage students cooperate to each


other. Then, teacher distributes worksheet to each of the pairs of the students.
Practice Students are asked to list down at least 5 common health problems based on
(While-Reading) the text given. Students in pair are being asked to contribute the answer in
(10 minutes) term of spelling and understanding to test their understanding within the
texts. Teacher and students checked the answer together to evaluate their
understanding towards the topics.

1. Teacher distributes mahjong paper for each pairs of students to make fun in
Production English Language class. Students in pairs are asked to come out with 3 kinds of
(Post- Reading) health problems and write simple sentence within the context given. Students
(10 minutes) in pairs are asked to present in verbal in front of the classroom to ensure
student understanding about the text. Teacher picks several pairs of students
to present in front of the classroom. Teacher and students checked the answer
together. Teacher evaluate students presentation.

1. Teacher asks the students about the topic learnt for today. Then, students recall
what they have learnt for today to relate lesson in their daily life. For example,
Conclusion* we need to appreciate our life, an importance of healthy life in our life and
(5 minutes) gratitude towards God. Teacher recapitulate todays lesson and student
summarize todays lesson to enhance students understanding the topic learnt
today. Teacher giving take away homework to the students by listing others
ailments and the symptoms.

1. Students are to read page 102- 103 of the textbook regarding health problems
and draw a connection between the information in those pages and todays
Extended Work topic.
2. Students are asked to find another five health problems and the remedies of
the health problems.
