SURGERY SERVICE

The surgical services of the Hospitals of the Kennedy Hospital Group are available to patients
and physicians, 10 operating rooms or operating rooms for the different specialties in the HCK
of the Ciudadela Kennedy, 7 operating rooms in the HCK Alborada and 5 operating rooms in the
HCK Samborondn; Each surgical service in the Group's Hospitals is complemented by a delivery
room, pre and post-operatory rooms, neonatal reception room, sterilization center and dressing
rooms for doctors and outpatient surgery patients.
All the operating rooms have cielitic lamps, anesthesia machines, surgical tables, monitoring,
conductive vinyl floors, air conditioners with filters and laminar flow diffusers, and the medical
technology required to perform highly complex procedures.

UNIT OF INTENSIVE CARE (ICU)

The Intensive Care Units (ICUs) of all Kennedy Hospital Hospitals have independent cubicles
(intensive care hospital beds) for the care of critically ill patients (with cardiac, isolated, infants
and general conditions).

The number of cubicles available in each hospital is variable, making available to doctors and
patients, 10 cubicles in the HCK of the Ciudadela Kennedy, 9 cubicles in the HCK Alborada, and
7 cubicles in the HCK Samborondn.

The intensive care units - ICU of the GHK, provide coverage and professional care of resident
physicians, technologists and nurses, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 24/7, with multiparameter
monitoring systems, volumetric fans, gases Centralized medicine and vacuum, along with a
complete equipment and medicine package to deal with each situation.

HOSPITALIZATION SERVICES
The hospitalization services of the Kennedy Group Hospitals offer the same standards of comfort
and care, in the rooms of all its venues.

More than 200 rooms are classified according to their size and characteristics in:

- Suites (Presidential and Standard)

- Private (Special and Standard)

- Semi-private (of 2 and 3 patients).

All rooms have intercom and emergency systems, private telephone, air conditioner, cable TV,
direct Internet access, refrigerators, hospital furniture, among other amenities.

Our patients have the Pre-admission service, for convenience at the time of their admission and
for inquiries about the availability of the different types of rooms in our hospitals.

NEONATOLOGICAL INTENSIVE CARE

For our small "newborn" patients requiring special care, each Kennedy Group Hospital has a
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit operated under the medical direction of the Department of
Pediatrics.

We have the necessary infrastructure in isolated and ventilated environments with EPA filters,
regulated air pressure in the area of critical care, modern and state-of-the-art equipment,
together with medical and paramedical personnel dedicated and dedicated 24 hours a day and
7 days Of the week 24/7, mothers can approach and attend directly to their children in specific
areas, achieving the contact that our babies at all times require for the recovery of their health.

At national and international level our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is recognized for the
successful care of critical and exceptional cases, making it the first reference center in the
region.

KENNEDY HOSPITAL GROUP AMBULANCES

The Kennedy Intensive Care Mobile Unit, interconnected to our emergency care center and the
trauma units of the three hospitals; Attends emergencies, medical emergencies, and transfers.

Our years of experience in pre-hospital medical services, the quality and warmth of our medical
and paramedical personnel, trained in emergency and resuscitation techniques, are the
strengths that characterize us.

- Coverage of emergencies and medical emergencies "in situ" 24 hours a day, 365 days a year;
Within the urban perimeter of Guayaquil.

UNIT OF PAIN
The Kennedy Hospital Group's pain unit is an entity created to meet the needs of a personalized
management of the patient's pain.

The postoperative pain, both acute and chronic in different pathologies, is professionally
controlled 24 hours a day, all to facilitate its recovery under the highest standard of hospital
care.

To fulfill this purpose we have resident doctors and specialists who carry out a personalized
follow-up of each of our patients.
