REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2004-221

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THE
REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2002-158: "AN
ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER XXII, SECTION 134,
SUB-SECTION H OF ORDINANCE 399, SERIES OF 1993,
OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE 'LOCAL GOVERNMENT
CODE OF ILOILO CITY' RE: FEES FOR POLICE
CLEARANCE"

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Iloilo that:

Section I. - This Ordinance shall amend Section 3 of the Regulation Ordinance

2002-158;

Section 2. -The entire provisions of Section 3 of Regulation Ordinance 2002-158

shall be amended and consolidated to read as:

" Section 3 - Fifty percent (50%) of the said fee as provided

for under Section 2 shall accrue to the general fund of the
City, while the other fifty percent (50%) to the procurement
of technical capabilities including equipments and
maintenance of the same, as well as other operational
expenses vital to their effective police /unctions, and also for
the improvement and streamlining of this particular service of
the Iloilo City Police and for the purpose of this ordinance."

Section 3. - EFFECTIVITY - This ordinance shall take effect after one week
from posting and publication in newspaper of general circulation.
