Outgoing Students Expression of Re-


gards to the Department
Life is a journey and reaching high, dont mean to for-
get the roots. The alumni students at SREYAS will always
have good association with the Department and college.
The final year students having associated with the depart-
ment for four years is difficult to miss the college envi-
ronment all of a sudden. The 2013-2017 outgoing batch
expressed their wholehearted regards to the department
and faculty. They conveyed special thanks to final year
staff especially Mr K.Sainadh - project co-ordinator for
his support in completion of project in time. They also
conveyed thanks to HOD and presented a wall frame;a
collection of past memories with faculty.

Faculty Awareness Program on NBA

Faculty awareness program on "How to prepare for


NBA?" was organized in the department on 4th April
2017.

As a token of respect, all students met personally


with Prof.Y.Krishna, Dr.PM Diaz, Mr.V.Ramakrishna,
Mr.Krishna Chaithanya, Mr. K Rajasekhar, Mr.Bhasker
and other faculty for seeking advices to succeed in fu-
ture.

The greatest benefits of attending an academic or profes-
sional conference are the opportunities to build network
and increase awareness of new trends happening in the
area of interest. One day workshop on " Challenges in
Joining of Advanced Materials" organized on 26th May
2017 at NFC, Hyderabad by Indian Institute of Welding
were attended the faculty from Mechanical Engineering.
Mr D V Paleswar, Mr. Krishna Chaitanya, Mr. Y.Krishna
and Mr.B.Sandeep are the participants from the depart-
ment. All these faculty doing Ph.D got opportunity to
exchange ideas, share resources build relationships with
people from their domain of interest.

Special Review Class for Engineering


Graphics
Special review class took by Prof. K V R S Sairam on
31.05.2017, just one day before the University exami-
nation for CSE students for score more marks. He give
important tips for effective presentation in Engineering
Graphics. He given review lecture on Engineering curves,
scales, lines, planes and solids. He emphasized for use of
quality instruments for saving time. More than 60 stu-
dents from CSE all sections were attended the program
and all students expressed their satisfaction about the
program and confident for scoring good marks in the
coming examination for Engineering Graphics.

Faculty screening test before Subject

The subjects of Mechanical Engineering are classified into
three groups such as Design group, Thermal group and
Production group headed by Prof. Y. Krishna, Prof. K.
Sainath and Prof. D. V. Paleswer respectively. The Junior
as well as middle level faculty are screened thoroughly
for subject knowledge, teaching practices and communi-
cation skills. The domain head, department head and se-
nior faculty evaluates for presentation and preparation
levels. After satisfactory level of presentation only the
subject will be alloted to the concerned faculty.
