This experimental focuses on the influence of fiber length on the flexural and impact properties of compression
molded zalacca fiber/HDPE composites. The composite sample was fabricated with five different fiber lengths of
Zalacca Fiber (1 mm, 3 mm, 5 mm, 7 mm, and 9 mm). The failure of the composite was examined with the help
of scanning electron microscopy (SEM). From this experimental study, it was observed that the flexural and
impact properties increased with increase of composites fiber length, wherein the highest flexural and impact
properties were attained at fiber length 9 mm.
