Article 1:

The article Manchester Attack: Police not sharing information with the U.S. was written

by BBC. The people this article affected was the U.S media and the victims of the Manchester

attacks. The article was about the leaking of images of the debris of the attack and of the name of

the attacker by the U.S media. The article was written on May 25 but it was about the

Manchester attack on May 22. The article was written by British Broadcasting about the terrorist

attack in Manchester England. This article addresses the relationship between the U.K and U.S

and how it was strained by the leaking by U.S media it's important because it shows how

influential the media has become in a global sense. The article talks about how just hours after

the attack, the name of the attacker was leaked by U.S media after police had shared the

information securely through the Five Eyes sharing agreement.

I think this article was well written because the author provided both factual evidence and

then his opinion on the topic. For example he wrote, That system is based on trust and the

"control principle": if a piece of intelligence is shared, the receiving nation has no right to further

disseminate it without permission. He then speaks about how he agrees with the response the

police had to stop sharing information with the U.S following what occurred.

Article 2:
The article Mike Dubke, White House communications director, quits was written by

BBC reporter Anthony Zurcher. In the article Zurcher writes about how the White House

communications director quit after only three months of being hired by President Trump. The

people involved in this situation are former White House communications director Mike Dubke,

President Donald Trump and White House Chief of staff Reince Priebus. This took place at

Washington DC in the White House. Dubke handed his resignation on May 18 but decided to

stay until President Trump had come back from his trip to the Middle East and Europe. The

reason Dubke gave to leave were personal. Zurcher wrote that Dubkes departure is part of a

reshuffle that has been done because problems between White House communications team. The

article talks about the current state of our government and it is important to keep the public

informed of any major changes such as the changes in staff.

I think this article is well written because the author wrote about all of the facts of the

situation and wrote analysis for the information he wrote about. For example, This lends

credence to earlier reports that the president views his administration's ongoing difficulties as a

messaging problem, and not one of policies or management.
