Importance of Technology in Schools. Contemporary Educational Technology, 4(3), 187-196

INTRODUCTION

Research Questions (if research questions are not specifically mentioned, what is
the theoretical background or overarching theme):
What impact do technology tools have over students learning and the roles of the
principals in this regard?

Purpose of the research:

To find out whether technology has any positive impact on education if principals involve
full force.

METHODOLOGY

What is the methodology for the research or approach used to understand the
issue? Provide information regarding the following:

Participants: They have used 310 participants

Procedures: They ran a questioner consisted of a few questions.

Data Collection Methods/Data Source: Real time interviewing.

Data Analysis: The participants responses were read several times to become
familiar with the data. The data was then coded into meaningful categories. Once
the categories were established, another researcher independently coded a 10%
sample of responses to determine the consistency of the coding. The inter-coder
reliability results revealed a high level of agreement (Cohens kappa = .94).
RESULTS

Findings or Results (or main points of the article):

The more principals get involved with technology the better their colleagues-teachers
play significant roles and as a result students success increases.

DISCUSSIONS
Conclusions/Implications (for your profession):
The principals play crucial roles in this game and the more effort they spend the better
results they get. Technology would impact the students success tremendously when it is
used by principals and their teachers in the classrooms.

REFLECTIONS

Students Reflections (changes to your understanding; implications for your

school/work):
I was always kind of a distant to technology since it has many negative impacts such
distracting students and affecting their attention or focusing during class time. But
organizing it well may have so many positive impacts on the students learning process.
