OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the activity all students will:
identify at least 50% of the information required;
write a short paragraph on a given topic
bring at least three arguments to support a point of view on a given topic;
FUNCTIONS:
- expressing opinions;
- bringing arguments;
- supporting arguments with examples;
PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE:
- vocabulary related to types of idioms
ANTICIPATED DIFFICULTIES:
- the students ability to express themselves correctly in English and to sustain
their points of view with the most appropriate arguments and examples.
PRESENTATION: the students are told what the new lesson is about and what they
are expected to do in class.

EVALUATION:
PROCEDURE: the teacher asks questions about the topics under debate.
FEED BACK: the teacher evaluates the students performance in class, laying
emphasis on the most interesting points of view and the most powerful arguments. -
