1. Delhi is witnessing an unprecedented car boom and people are trying to outdo each other in buying
personal cars and jeeps. Given below is an economic survey conducted by a newspaper which
highlights the problems of the people. In fact, Delhi is the only metropolitan city, where there
is no alternative transport system, except a limited network of metros. The biggest fallout of this
vehicular growth has been immense overpopulation leading to traffic congestions and other problems.
